This day last year was the most special day of our lives, as finally, after 7 years of saying we will, we finally got married! Organised in just 5 weeks, in the most busiest month of the year, we couldn’t have done it without a lot of help. We never wrote a speech, and winged it terribly, and we never blogged it as work was just so hectic afterwards… So thought we’d save it for our first anniversary…
There are a few people we’d really like to thank, again… As without you, our day would never have happened or as been as totally wonderful as it was.

To John, for filming our wedding-I’m SO SORRY we forgot to thank you on the night-you, Adam & Jenny were amazing, just as I knew you would be-I’ve lost count of the times I have watched my dvd already…;

Hannah, for the huge and formidable effort in baking all those wonderfully delicious and gorgeous fairy cakes;
Kim, for not only a wonderful Hen Do organisation-I truly loved it and the huge thought that went into it at such short notice, but also for being on hand all day on our wedding day, for doing Hayley’s hair (which, by the way, I wish I could do EVERYDAY, I love it so much) and make up, your such a star. To your husband Ian too, you pair of stars…. ****
To Paul for singing and making such an effort for us when you were already so busy-we could listen to you all night long.
To Sharon (& Kelly) for fitting me in for a last minute dress fitting!
To Clare for making my gorgeous wedding ring (and later my eternity ring!) I cannot stop looking at them..
To Ruth & Jackie, and all the team at Azure events, for making our wedding dreams come true. The amazing food, the decor, the effort-everything you did for us, it was better than I even dreamt it would be. I can’t even begin to describe my feelings when I walked into the marquee… It took my breath away…
To Warren, (and of course Uncle Al) for being so excited when I said you could do what you like with my flowers, and then for doing the BEST flowers I have ever seen at any wedding in my life. The comments I have had truly blow me away. You are extremely talented.
To our friends-they say you are the family you can chose! We love each and every one of you and thank our lucky stars every day that we have such a wonderful group of people around us… You can tell a lot about a person by the company that they keep…. We must be pretty spectacular….
To Kate & Em, for being so supportive, for looking after George SO much and for being such good sisters.
To Ed & Kerry, for being the best brother & sister in law anyone could ever wish for. You have made Hayley feel so welcome from day one, your continual love, support & generosity is overwhelming and we can’t thank you enough for all you do for us. George adores you guys and we’re lucky to have you in our lives.
To George for being so good on the day and every day after. Your one special little boy and we love you so much.
To Our Parents. This card isn’t big enough to thank you for all that you have done & keep doing for us… From childbirth to child care, we thank you. You have brought us up with morals, perspective, respect and love. You have given us both wings to fly and roots to keep us grounded. We are truly honoured to have you as our parents and strive everyday to make you proud.
That’s enough from us, it’s beginning to sound like an Oscar’s speech-we hope we haven’t missed anyone out this time, and thank you all for continuing to be such important parts of our lives.
